We offer full day care for children aged 2 years to pre-school from 8am to 6pm, 50 weeks of the year, as well as morning sessions and afternoons. We also offer a school day from 9am to 3.30pm to coincide with the local schools. You are able to combine a mixture of sessions and we have no minimum requirements.
At Jollies House we are open 50 weeks of the year, closing on bank holidays and between Christmas and New Year. All childcare vouchers are accepted and we offer flexible sessions for both the 15hours and the 30hours government funding and FEET funding. We also have term time sessions available and will try to be as flexible with your childcare requirements. We recognise that every child and family circumstance are different and will do all we can to help manage your childcare needs.
A chef joins us every day to provide a healthy and balanced home cooked hot meal and we also provide a nutritional breakfast, snacks and tea. We are able to cater for different allergies and intolerances. If however, you would like to bring your own packed lunch then you are more than welcome.
Jollies House has a large free flow inside area where the children engage in different resources and activities as well as a separate classroom for more pre-school, adult led activities, focusing on maths, literacy and phonics etc. We are also incredibly lucky to have a very green and spacious garden where the children enjoy where the children can extend their learning and fun. We are a very outside orientated nursery and enjoy parachute play, mud kitchens and team games in a large open space. We cultivate our own growing patch and care for our garden encouraging the children to understand the world around us. Enjoying the fresh air and outdoor space is an integral part of our learning and enjoyment at Jollies House. We also have weekly extra curricula activities such as tennis, rugby, yoga, dance and football, these are from an outside events company and are funded by Jollies House for all of the children.
We have an online learning portal where as a parent, you will be able to view photographs, videos, observations and reports on a daily/weekly basis, this is a secure online learning platform that is dedicated to your child and offers the very highest technology to ensure you can keep up to date with child’s life at nursery and remain informed about their learning journey and development.
Jollies House is owned, managed and loved by Joanne Cross who has an Early Years Degree, and is at the forefront of everything that happens at Jollies House.
